Description

The inspiration for the Langly Photography Field Jacket comes from one of the most iconic utilitarian designs of all time, the M-65 field jacket.

Originally developed by the military to function in any climate, the M-65 keeps cool on hot days, warm on cold nights, and dry during monsoons. The four large pockets secure all your necessities within easy reach, while the jacket’s clean lines lend it a timeless quality that still influences contemporary style.

Our jacket features multiple reinforced snap-flap pockets; an adjustable hood and cuffs; a wind and water-resistant shell; and only the finest hardware available. This garment shines in any weather you may encounter in the city — or on the road.

Photography Field Jacket

I ordered an extra small hoping it would work for a women's small. The jacket is very well made and has lots of pockets. It would hold up well under harsh conditions. Because it is constructed for a male body it would be helpful to have a draw string at the waist to make it more fitted. It does have a drawstring that makes it snug around the thighs.

Definitely waterproof

The day after receiving this I was caught in torrential, sideways rain. Concentrating on keeping camera dry I didn’t notice until hours later that not for a moment did the jacket allow my torso or the treasured spare batteries, phone etc in pockets to get a drop of rain. I’m impressed!
